A new contemporary dwelling designed for the rolling countryside of Pulloxhill, Bedfordshire.
Strong horizontal lines reduce the perceived scale and bulk of the building, allowing the architecture to sit quietly within its rural setting.
The wrap-over canopy is integral to the design — creating a covered terrace, providing solar shading to reduce summer overheating and limiting light spill to protect the surrounding dark skies.
Contemporary rural architecture, shaped by its landscape.
